I have a current production bought in December 2019 and it is 1/2x28.

Upon unscrewing the muzzle device, this one was indeed 1/2x28. Got the can mount ordered for it, next will do the 2020 sear.

That’s good to know. I was going off the info on Silencer Shops site. Maybe I’ll buy a muzzle device for mine or may end up having to buy a new can. Who’s running their AUGs suppressed? I’ve heard they aren’t great to suppress.

You need the suppressed gas valve.

Another possible option, I have heard good things about OSS suppressors especially related to bullpups like Tavors.

The design has something called "flow through" tech that means you don't need to have an adjustable gas system and really sounds a lot like "one suppressor to rule them all."

It's something I want to look into when funds permit.

I would not own an OSS suppressor.

Loud cans, funky design, way overpriced, over hyped. I’ll stick with more conventional designs.

That's what I needed to know. Oddly the recommend came from Tim at Military Arms Channel and he's usually a reliable, reputable source who has no problem saying something sucks if it sucks. I recall a snow day when he broke a bunch of folding stocks on "supposedly" top name brands.

Yep, either that or drill one out. I drilled the adverse position vent on mine out to .107" and it's been running fine there, strangely both with and without the suppressor. In the normal position I was having intermittent malfunctions. (For reference, the normal setting gas vent is .072".)
