M LOK is an open standard, not a brand.

It's not really an "open" standard. It's a free license, that also has an export control provision.

Anyone that has access to the MLOK TDP and produces it correctly shouldn't have issues. Anyone going off of drawings and dimensions available on the interwebs is making slots/accessories with the wrong dimensions. The dims on Wikipedia are for sure wrong. I just looked at the TDP drawing...

The moral of the story is; Don't buy cheap gun parts from eBay. It's not "just an MLOK adapter."
