I think a modern locking block is supposed to be replaced every 30K or so.

I recall the trigger spring is a 5K affair and it seems logical to also change the recoil spring while you're at it...

I've inherited a 92fs which is now a "G" version, it also has a new wilson rear sight, 14# trigger spring and 14# recoil spring with fluted guide rod. It's my favorite 9mm.

I find the full size oem grips to be a little cumbersome for my medium sized hands. So grips will be next. I want Wilson grips. Has anyone used both the standard G10 grips and the ultra thin grips who can comment on their preference?

I have the Wilson Ultra Thin grips on several Model 92s, including a compact 92. They make all the difference to me, and I don't even think of the gun as having fat grips when these G10 versions are installed. I recommend them.

I'm looking at jumping into the 92 series with both feet. A few years ago I got the opportunity to shoot a Langdon tactical 92 with the complete works done to it. Every since I have been holding out for the 92 LTT RDO Version, or even the standard 92LTT with the upgraded trigger. However recently I got to handle the M9A3. I really liked that as well.

Beretta experts on here, should I keep holding out, or settle on the M9a3?

If you can get an M9A3 for a decent price, you won't regret putting one in the back of the safe. That said, LTT is pretty much the cat's ass. No bad choices.
