    Strongest OTF????

Due to some changes in Illinois laws, I recently purchased my first auto - a Benchmade Phaeton.
I really like the concept and the knife, but it just feels a little small & delicate for me (6’5” and 275#). I can see it not surviving some of the strikes it might be subjected to (e.g., thrusts through skull bone).

My question to all of the knife cognoscenti here - what is the strongest OTF currently available for a reasonable price (< $750)??? I must say that esthetically, I am drawn to a Combat Troodon s/e.

Anything better? Any reason NOT to go with this blade? Any side-openers that are stronger???

    TIA

Hawks deadlock is the best...zero blade play. Good luck on $750 though

Yep - took a look at some prices!!!! Some of us retirees may have a bit more discretionary income than some - but not that kind:). Think I’ll pass on this one. Thanks for the reference - had never heard of this maker before.
