    The barrel smile is a direct visual indication of tighter in battery lock up (not that the muzzle end of the barrel locks up).

    Gen 5 is the descendant of the FBI M series. FBI requested rifling that could be traced to each gun. The original polygonal rifling was very difficult and usually impossible to trace. Glock spun this to the civilian market as an accuracy improvement. The Marksman bbl is marketing BS.

    That said, its the best generation thus far.
