    The current AR landscape

It's been a pretty turbulent year. To date:

Colt left the civilian AR market and now supposedly wants to dive back in.

The Bushmaster and DPMS brands are (for the time being, anyway) defunct.

The 2020 gun buying frenzy still seems to be in gear, leaving AR's scarce in many (most?) areas.

5.56/.223 ammo availability is still hit-or-miss.

    Not sure about component availability.

Mags still appear to be widely available. That may change as the election gets closer.

Looking ahead to Fall and Winter 2020, does the crystal ball see the ammo shortage easing at some point, or continuing into 2021? A lot of other things depend on the outcome of the election (obviously).

I don't see ammo being available within the next year.

If Biden wins, I expect the Progs to full press the gun control agenda and to see it as legitimizing their riotous behavior.

If Trump wins, they will lose their shit over the idea that 1. He won 2. He will now appoint at least one if not 2 Supreme Court justices 3. Etc...

Where in that do you see any let up in the demand for guns and ammo?

I guess we're all just spitballing here, but if Biden wins, I've been thinking for some time the next big thing is the Left will start to go after ammo MUCH harder. If I was a Lefty and my overarching goal is reduce firearms ownership/usage in any way possible, rather than keep grinding away fighting gun laws in each state, I'd go after the ammo supply. What good is owning a firearm if 99.99% of the public don't reload and there's no ammo available? One fell swoop---EPA regs going after the environmental angle, executive order, ban military/LE caliber sales to the public, stuff like that. Don't get me wrong, all of that is unconstitutional, but that won't stop them and they've already used these mechanisms for other things.

People will keep buying guns. But the Left will increasingly go after the ammo supply.

With the right court makeup, anything can become constitutional.

Trump winning can put two more justices in place and cement some pretty good rulings. Biden winning would put two on the court plus the momentum from the radicals probably would see them (as they've already mentioned) increasing the justices to 15. Knock out the electoral college and the radical left will have permanent hold on the reigns of government along with a court to rubber stamp what they can't get through otherwise.

A Biden win will probably lead to the worst run on guns/gear we've ever seen. Supply will never return to what it was, between "get it now before it's banned" and actually being banned.

    I foresee Trump winning.
I foresee the left losing their minds about it to the point that they won’t accept it. The current civil unrest will multiply as a result, thus inducing more panic and people running to the gun shops for all of the above. And we will be told that this is Trumps America even though its the Biden supporting cry babies who are causing the unrest. Sort of a “see what you made me do!?!” mentality.

In short...We ain’t seen nothing yet.

I don't GAF what a Harris-Biden administration might ban, nor do I GAF what the God-like Black Robes declare to be kosher or not. To be sure I don't want either, but ultimately don't GAF.

Obviously the Left is going to go utterly bananashit if Trump wins. That’s a given. But I also worry about them in a Biden win/Blue Wave scenario where they feel emboldened by the political cover provided by the results of the election and go on a rampage of reprisals against the defeated “fascists”.

Taxation. Can you imagine a world where there is a 1000% tax on any ammunition? It’s leftist nirvana.

It wouldn’t change anything. The tree of Liberty is going to die of thirst before enough like minded folks coalesce together to actually do something about.

If they defraud the voters, all bets are off.

I don't see Dopey Joe having a snow ball's chance in hell in a legit election. After that, there should be the usual post-panic glut of inventory on everything.

I no longer participate in this panic retardation. The last 5 or 6 were enough for me.
