Regardless of which way it goes though, not much will change for us. People said the same thing when Obama was elected. Our gun rights were over and we were going to face another more terrifying AWB, etc, etc. Yet he didn't pass a single bit of gun control in 8 years. Nothing even came close, despite the large number of very public shootings.

On the other hand Trump ran on an extremely Pro gun platform but has actually passed gun control though the stroke of a pen and spoken out against suppressors, in favor of red flag laws, etc.

The point being that nothing much will probably happen either way because they all lie to get votes and stir up their base, but when in office won't do much so they don't piss off the opposition too much.
I can't disagree with that, and hope it remains the case.

Having said that, it is 2020 and all.......

That, and no matter how necessary or justified it may be, too much change from status quo scares the under-educated, mouthbreathing Normies who are on average so stupid it's a wonder they spell their own frickin' names right.

Whoever buys Remington's ammo line, will make a fortune, if they can get it back on-line quickly.

I like shooting my SAN rifle a lot, too, but I don't like its rarity and one-man-band supply chain. JDI really needs to sell these with spare parts packages (springs/extractor).

On a side note, anyone else actually having difficulty selling ammo? My experience in September here is that while market rates are high, actual demand at those rates is quite low.
Love, love, love my 457. I bought the Scout (youth model) to teach my son to shoot. Great trigger. Threaded barrel. It’s an awesome little rifle.

Re: Swiss 55x rifles, spare parts are available from LE trade-in demilled guns. Gatewood supply is where you should go. Right now is a far better time to find spares than when I started around 2002. Things were far more scarce, far more costly back then.

    I should've been clearer, I have a 751.

Ah, yeah you’re only option is JDI. I would call JDI and order parts. A spare bolt group and a couple piston/return springs.
