    Offset MRDS on optic: Am I doing this right...

    Finally got around to mounting these.

    Leupold 3-9x in DD mount with Insight SQFS offset from the primary optic itself, versus the receiver/handguard. Seems to transition well.

    I have a DD 1 o’clock mount ready to go, but decided to try this first. It seems like a fairly decent solution and avoided my mounting the MRDS to the handguard or back right in front of my eye. Also, if I mount the scope, the backup goes with it.

    Used? No, I just mounted.

    Any concerns with this setup? Anyone else do this?
