We need to push to nominate and place a justice ASAP.

It's an election year and in addition to all of the BS that normally comes with it, we have a global pandemic and "revolutionaries" burning our major cities and assaulting or even killing those they disagree with.

Waiting to place a justice could galvanize the left into voting in droves for Biden. Take that card away. Ensure there is a full court (as a plus, one with a solid majority) should the shenanigans with mail-in come into play.

With some of the ComDems already saying they'll simply expand and pack the court to undo Trump's pick if they win, there really isn't a reason not to press hard for this. If we lose in November, we lose everything, so full throttle it for all it's worth.

    Republicans will screw this up.

Then wonder how and why they lost the Senate.

Explain please...you are Mitch, let's hear your game plan.

I think he means that they'll give the Dems too much concession to appear as though they are playing somewhat nice, but will give them too much, because that's what always seems to happen.

What Mitch needs to do is realize is that if he gives in in any way, shape or form, he will not gain one single friend or voter, but he will make tons of enemies. No matter what move he makes, there's no assurance that it will work out well for the GOP in November, so why not just take this golden opportunity while it's on the table? The left can call it hypocritical, illegal, racist, fascist, and all that shit and the GOP can just say sucks to suck, kiss our asses because you'd do the same thing in our position.

Yeah. He can always play any of a number of cards. like stripping committee seats, reducing staff allowance, reassigning office space, ordering a member's bills spiked in committee just for a few. "Nice cushy spot you got there, be a SHAME if something happened to it..."
    ...
But since Murk was Primaried off the GOP ballot several years back and he bought her write-in campaign... like I said, he owns her and can yank the leash at any time.

An accusation which the Spanish, French, and Continental Congress agreed with.

So the Colonials decided to fight fair.

And - thanks in no small part to the French and Spanish - won.

If I’m Mitch my plan is to try like hell to get the nominee out of the judicial committee and get confirmation hearings going to get to the limited debate stage and try to get 50 votes to get a floor vote.

Ton of pitfalls in the way. All due to idiots like Cuck Romney, Susan Collins, and Lisa Murkowski. They’ll stand in the way, dither, and be useless. Meanwhile Democrats will abuse rules, make shit up, and delay delay delay. With the “Three Stooges” in the way nothing goes forward fast enough.

Mitch doesn’t have a lot of sway over the idiots I mentioned because one of them hates Trump and will be a cuck no matter what, and the other two are shiftless bitches who care only about re-election. The calculus of Collins and Murkowski are that they can screw over the party to appease voters in their states, and that in the end the money will still flow because Mitch will go with funding an incumbent rather than primary them.

If I were McConnel I would threaten all of them with scorched earth. No campaign funds, support for primarily challengers, recruitment of primary challengers, and tossing out any and all pet project spending for their states. However Mitch won’t do that and the stooges know it.

Washington also knew how to use militia who were swift to break--told them "you can run once the battle's on, but I need you to get off at least one volley before you do, just give me that one volley and you're free to split." For that, instead of the irregulars running, he got 2-3 volleys then they went and found vulnerable potshot opportunities while the main line kept the Redcoats' attention.

no need for debate, by law all Trump has to do is nominate and Senate votes. The hearings and debate are a result of Dems in the 30s trying to stop a jew from getting on the SC
