Someone pointed out that in Europe Shield is THE pistol mounted optic. Shield looks to have worked with Glock to launch a toughened glass lens RMSc as well. How well they work I dunno. Hopefully they work well enough.

I will likely break down and try one.

Few months have gone by on this thread - anyone have any more experience on optics for the 43x MOS? I finally got one on order and starting to research which red dot to run on it.

Well I believe C&H has developed a lower plate for the Holosun K’s that allow you to run the original sights, or same height aftermarket for a BUIS.

My G48 MOS is able to use the cheap plastic sights through my 507K-X2

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

I use the CHPWS plate with a RMRcc.

I was under the impression that some optics did not require a mounting plate on the 43x and 48 MOS guns? Or is it only the shield that is direct mount?

I was planning on getting a 48 MOS because i was under the impression that a 407k and 507k would not require a plate. If they do, then I'll get a normal 48 and have it milled.

Can you post a picture? How does the RMRcc fit? And do taller sights co-witness through it? I'm leaning towards the RMRcc as well since I have a fullsize RMR on another pistol, I'd like to stay standardized.

We will make one in due time for RMRcc, I recently got a 48X for that reason. Machined in steel and black nitrided, it'll overhang forward of the cut a bit as RMRcc is slightly longer.

    no space.

How do I delete existing files?

fits fine but due to length it sits higher than a optic that can fit in the MOS space.
