    Beretta 92-X performance magazine compatability?

Can't get an answer by calling Beretta USA. So, will a standard 92FS magazine fit a 92x? I'm thinking it will... Maybe???

The 92x is new and the "dedicated" 15 rounders that come with it are unicorns right now. I'm thinking of buying a few 92FS 17-rounders if they will fit so I can get back into three gun. Bueller???

I handled one a few months ago, and the pistol uses a standard 92 magazine. Just has a base pad on it. Why they ship with the 15 round version is a mystery.

Very little about Beretta's marketing decisions make sense.

Thanks guys. Agreed. I finally got through to Beretta USA today. The China Virus has things all screwed up, but the rep confirmed the standard mags work, they just lack the base plate as Coal Dragger says. He "said" there will be more magazine options available once the platform takes off and assuming November 3rd goes the right way.

Those Mec-Gar 20 rounders have a base plate. I can't wait to go run this thing. It has the weight and feel of a $4000 custom 1911.

There's at least one for sale in the outdoorstrader. Buy it counselor. You need a gamer pizza blaster.

Riots are like sports, it's better to watch it on TV at home.

Going to be Mon-Tue before I can get it to the range. She's a smooooth feeling chunk of solid stainless steel. I'll make sure and let you know what a POS it is... This is actually my first Beretta. I've always wanted a 92 since Die Hard came out. I couldn't pass this up. It feels as solid as a custom Nighthawk 1911 would.

    Dooooooooo It!

Same. I think it's the purdiest Beretta they've made in the last 30 years, but the Billenniums were cool, too.
