Yeah... I don't know whether to be relieved that terrorists usually choose 'symbolic' targets over 'strategic' ones, or worried that that pattern might be a long-term feint. Right now, we don't have the industrial capacity to go to a long-term WWII-style "war footing" if we HAD to, and most of our so-called 'allies' would either have their own problems at home or be quietly collaborating with the enemy like Merkel with Russia and Iran.
