The finish is why I like it. The threads feel good too.
1168, why would staking be affected? They're both standard castle nuts. Do you mean the end plate?

Can't help but giggle at the "improved lubricity" on a part that ain't supposed to move.
Not saying the part is bad, but the copy writer obviously has no clue what role the nut is supposed to play.
Go Ukraine! Piss on the Russian dead.
Don't you use grease on the castle nut?
Just ordered 2 11oz buffers for my AR9/40 and AR45.
Now if I can find a 10MM barrel I can build an AR10mm too since it shares BCG with the 40 and would work in the AR45 lower.
8oz buffers seem to be the minimum required. Still having some feeding issue on the AR45 with 230gr fmj. Seems the shape of the bullet is an issue at times.
Only folks I'm aware of that offer a 10mm barrel is QC10. They ain't that big and the can't even keep up with 9mm right now. I think you'll have to ride out the storm.

Not in a big hurry on the 10mm barrel. I do have 2 .40 uppers (16 , 7.5) and 2 9mm uppers (7, 16) and a 7-8 .45acp upper.
Just looking to one day have the 10mm and .357sig uppers to fill out the set.
So, I scavenged the red springco from the cm, and went out to test my new creation....Not good yet!
Lots of double feeds, stove pipes, and failure to extract, using Wolf 115g fmj.
I am using an ETS Mag. It does hand cycle perfectly.
I removed the weight from the bcg, and Im going to test in a bit.
Also taking a carbine flat wire spring.
Hopefully, I can get it to run
