    Budget build

Anderson lower with Strike Ind enhanced LPK, PSA 10.5 upper, Strike Ind ambi charging handle, Sig BCG, old school Millet red dot, SBA3 brace, Griffin AR-SOB buffer & Strike Ind flat wire spring. Pistol cycles great. 3 o’clock ejection pattern. Pretty happen for a budget build.

Looks good! I definitely enjoy my 11.3" budget pistol build.

Budget build does not imply a specific price point, it is more the philosophy of part selection and expectations.

My budget pistol has Anderson receivers instead of BCM or Sionics, a Toolcraft nitride BCG in place of the phosphate mil-spec bolt I would normally use, a keymod rail that was on clearance, a PSA EPT trigger in place of a Larue, standard charging handle, and used/clearance sights.

I built a "budget" pistol for maybe $350 - $400 less than if I had used new top shelf parts and with the understanding there is no free lunch.

If I saved $400 and insisted my pistol is as good as "those gucci brands", it would mean I threw away money on a cheap POS.

Bdgv1 knows/stated right off that its a budget build, listed the parts used, and reported his satisfaction with the end result. Folks respect that and the positive comments show it.

Interesting. Always considered a "budget build" as one "on the cheap"; regardless of the builder's financial status. In that case, all my guns are budget builds.

You can build really good guns quite cheaply. For example- how much does a Magpul or other Aftermarket stock really improve a rifles' function over a standard throw away M4 you found in a trash can? It's negligible, it's mostly an aesthetic and preference thing- but you're going to spend $40-100 on it.
The truth can only offend those who live a lie.
