    Is it true that if you serve in Swiss Army, after you finish your time you may bring the rifle you served with back home?

    That’s correct, and it used to be a simple formality and a $ 100 fee. The army neutralises the full auto function though.

    Nowadays you have to shoot and qualify three times in the last three years to be eligible to take the rifle (or pistol) home.

    My Stgw 57 and 90 are ex military rifles
