I think all the "Jimmy's" are great, coked up Jimmy is the best Jimmy.

That should have been the whole movie. No Aliens. No Rock. No talking.

Just a brute space marine who doesn’t talk shoving a sawed off shotgun up literal demons from Hell asses and ripping and tearing until it is done while hardcore metal blasts loudly in the background.

Not a woman. Not a black guy. Not someone secretly gay. Just a swole mute guy tearing through literal Hell to kill demons.

And I want Sam Raimi to direct

I dug the British Jimmy and all the references, especially the Bravo Two Zero secret code. Overall I enjoyed the film but I'd never watch it again. Because of the film style it's hard to relate to the main character. I was impressed by some of the displayed technique such as the AK magazine change where the new magazine engages the magazine release lever and a few other "real world" tactics and methods that you had to know what it is to see the three seconds of film they devote to the skill.

But I will never need to see any spin off "first person POV" films, it's just another technique like shaky cam (Blair Witch Project) and Matrix effects which may have worked in the original films but destroy all other films that incorporate the film technique.

It will of course have a niche audience with first person gamer fans, but that isn't me.
It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.

    Chuck, we miss ya man.

I actually picked up some lines and visuals I hadn't gotten on the first watching, but no, I don't see it as a movie I will re watch various times as I might others.

This movie is actually based and technically shouldn’t exist.
