This is 100% correct. This is the main reason why I like Trump as President. He doesn't pull punches and is alot smarter about what he does than people give him credit for. Even though it was chaos, I think Trump drank Biden's milkshake last night. Just looking at Biden, he physically looks sick with one foot in the grave. And I think there is something to the accusations that Biden was pumped full of something to give him the stamina to make it though the debate without his requested breaks every 30 minutes. That request in itself was telling as to Biden's physical and mental state.

I've had the night to let the "debate" marinade in my mind overnight. I get the impression that many Trump supporters have wanted him to become more presidential, and let the office and system mold him into something more genteel and statesman like. That hasn't happened. There are many Republicans who cringe every time the President speaks or tweets, begging him to tone it down and try to fit in to that D.C. crowd.

Then there's Betty Jo Van Dusen, soccer mom, PTA board member, and generally nice suburban dweller in Gwinnett County, Georgia. Betty Jo has to mute the TV or turn the channel to the Food Network every time the President appears because bad Orange Man upsets her delicate constitution and is a bad example for little Jimmy and Susie. Betty Jo Van Dusen is the type of voter who would select a Socialist because of style, not substance. There are millions of these type of voters out there, and they will sell out you and me, and the rest of the Country because they have no concern for what is really going on.

Based on what I heard last night, it's possible we just might lose this election, and instead of Uncle Sam, we get Uncle Joe (as in Joe Stalin). Biden won't deny that the devilcrats plan to pack the Supreme Court, raise taxes to confiscatory levels, and take your guns. I think we are at the beginning of a new dark age in America. Get ready to hide your guns and plan to hide your money. For those of us self-employed, hiding money is easy. If you're a salaried or hourly employee, that's gonna be tough.

I stopped watching after 10 minutes and it doesn't sound like I missed anything. I honestly do not believe there are any fence sitters this year. The only things that matter are election fraud and who can motivate their base to actually vote.

    You are not.

The only reason I watched it’s wanna know if any of these two genius actually has a plan for the conrona virus moving forward. Instead, these two clowns were pointing finger to each other and telling the whole world they are liars.

Hopefully the 2nd debate will be more meaningful

I did not watch it. We all knew how it was going to go down, and we all know there are no undecideds any more. There are people who will vote for Biden simply to 'not vote' for Trump; or, who simply won't vote at all. This is where Trump will lose the election. I am hopeful, just barely, that the pro-Trump folks are staying underground until Nov 3 and not taking the bait of polling and will crush the Nov 3 polls en masse.

I watched the entire thing - start to finish. I wanted to see everything, good or bad. Information is power and I gain knowledge by watching what the enemy says and does, and I gain information by watching how our own side does. We are in the early stages of a cultural and social civil war, and I have read the comments by many online who say the same thing - "I turned it off after a few minutes". Why?

Not that I'm directing this at AndyLate, but many on our side take a haughty tone and virtue signal that this sort of "debate" is beneath their elevated concept of political behavior. We are in a real nasty fight for America, and we either fight now with words and votes, or we'll be fighting with bullets and other forms of destruction.

Agreed. As soon as it started I mentioned to my wife Biden looked hyped up on something. It was obvious as the debate went on that it was wearing off. By the end he was just standing there barely responding to anything Trump said and seemed to almost be slurring some words.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one

yeap, he couldn't complete sentences, changed his "train" of though midway between statements, apparently looked down at a sheet with prepared notes and stumbled quite a bit. Something is obviously up with him. I guess you could say that Democrats are guilty of elder abuse. They are using him knowing that he will not last past a few months as president and that Harris will take over and put a commie agenda into place. On one level, I feel sorry for him that he isn't cognizant enough to realize he is being used.

Watched the whole thing. I think there were a few instances, 3 or so, where Trump missed an easy opportunity to knock one out of the park and just humiliate Biden. I’m disappointed in that. But Wallace would have interrupted at the first tone of missile lock and changed direction. Saving Joes ass.

I tried to find the article and of course now I can't, it seems a lot of journalists called out Wallace as being too hard on Trump, too soft on Biden, and generally allowing Biden to skate.
