Painting CJ7, what color?
I'm doing a frame off on a CJ7, 304 v8, flat fender and armored. Will be used for trails in woods, plowing snow, running mud. I'm struggling with what color to paint it, ideas? I want a semi gloss or flat. My daughter said gray camouflage, not doing camouflage, but gray is good.
Don't want navy gray, looks like primer.
Wrong vintage jeep for OD.
I saw Marine (woodland?) Green, looked good (I was in the Marines, so...)
Friend says Forest Green.
I found a Duracoat "German olive gray" that looked good.
Ideas?

Something around FDE or some sort of tan? Hides dirt and mud.

FDE seems a little over done. Maybe. IDK, I'll think about that. Is there a darker "mud" color? Ideas on that?

I’m sure a mud brown could be mixed up.

I used this paint when I painted by CUCV. It's single stage and easy to shoot.

I like both of those. Thoughts?

Dark forest green looks good. Buddy has one this color with a wide black vinyl stripe on hood.
I think something that would make it stand out would be a 1970’s Ford FE engine block dark blue color. Think that would be neat. Not the powder light blue, but the darker blue.

Do it up like a Kubelwagen
Jeeps are piss poor investments and moneypits especially under Fiat but if I were rich that’s what I’d do.
THIS is my ultimate redpill though
