At this point in time, paint it whatever the background is.

    Hk "baby poop" yellow.

It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.

    Chuck, we miss ya man.

Aervoe Field Drab. It's a dark tan / medium brown mud color. Search on it, people have painted 4x4s with it so you can get some idea. It's ugly and basically the color of cardboard.

If you want to generate painful love/hate reactions, try Aervoe Earth Yellow.

I like that slate/green color you posted a sample of.

Are you planning on using NON-automotive paint? I am suspecting since I saw Ace hardware, or maybe you just showed that for color sample?

Automotive or something similar in toughness. Just trying to identify the color now.

Thx for all the suggested links, I have some research to do!

Don't want navy gray, looks like primer.
    Wrong vintage jeep for OD.
I saw Marine (woodland?) Green, looked good (I was in the Marines, so...)
    Friend says Forest Green.
I found a Duracoat "German olive gray" that looked good.

    Ideas?
I have an 86 CJ-7 Renegade (hence screenname) and I would go with the factory original colors and decals.
