No. MI Input is magnetic induction input. Not sure what it's for, perhaps it's a future upgrade system to compete with Ops Core's NFMI.

The P/N from the listing you bought is for the Hearing Defender variant in coyote with a headband/ARC (MT20H682FB-09N CY), rather than the Dual Comm (MT20H682FB-19N CY) or Single Comm (MT20H682FB-47N CY) in coyote with a headband/ARC. Not sure how czgunner got the single comm variant from the link posted, I would guess that Strobels' ****ed up the order and sent the wrong (but better) item.

Curious how the ComTac VI stack up against the AMPs; there are apparently 3rd party adapters being worked on to allow use of the AMP mount kits on ComTacs and Sordins, so once those come out, the big advantage the AMPs have in terms of ergos is gone, leaving only the electronics.

    Hi again, again....

Could you take photos of the model numbers on the headset and a picture of the headset for me please? The website manager requested verification of both headsets.

That would help a lot, thanks.

Ordered from Magnum Electronics. Normally these are build to order, 6-8 weeks out. I got lucky and either Magnum or Peltor has some in stock and they shipped to me within a week. $810 for ComTac's and $204 for Adapter. Now I own 4 radios, two ComTac VI & two ComTac III, with adapters for each.
Are you in the mood to sell one of your III's or VI's with the NATO plug?

I may have to eBay these NIB's....

This is the behind the head headband unit, NOT over the head. Allows us to wear muff along with ballistic helmet. The over the head units will have different model number. You can get these from 3M Peltor web site.

Here is what Strobels sent me.
It’s possible somebody screwed up at 3M or Strobels.
Sorry for the confusion, I guess I got lucky. I’m pretty sure it said single com when I ordered it though.

No, sorry not for sale. This an integral part of my comms setup.

Probably 3M ****ed up. The box label shows the P/N for the Hearing Defender, which is also how the box is labeled "Hearing Defender, No DL" (so no downlead).

Mine were not boxed, they were wrapped in bubble wrap.

Good grief, 3M is a mess.
