    Yep!

Last year I honestly accidentally brought over three 15 rnd mags for my Sig. I panicked a little bit and decided to send them back to a friend in AZ.

I then discovered LEO need a warrant to open mail or at least SERIOUS cause...not just suspicion.... I believe they put themselves at risk of felony for doing so.

Since my business is online and I ship daily so have a few packages on hand almost constantly....I may just have the mags and BCG in a shipping box with postage paid....

I'm all about doing the right thing but sometimes enough is enough! Safe deposit boxes are not easy and then necessitate a trip back to that locale as would storing them hence hampering my freedom....

California has a saying, come on vacation, leave on probation.

Yes, I believe it’s ok if the limiter is epoxied in. Must be a permanent fix IIRC, but I haven’t tracked the issue that much.

Calguns, for all its other faults, has good info on these topics. Check out the stickies in the section below -

Why is it soo important to take the pistol to Ca?? Why not just take something Ca legal or better yet don't go to Ca. Trying to hide or disguise it is asking for trouble. So is discussing it openly here.

Because his RV *IS* his only home and he may not HAVE anywhere else to store it.

I would love to say Amen brother, but unfortunately California is not the US anymore. It is some sort of communist enclave that the people there haven't figured out that they are slaves. I too would just take it but understand that if you get caught, there are VERY STEEP penalties for that.

I grew up in CA and the CA I grew up in is gone. I live now in a free-er state and I only go back to visit family and on business. I am always trying to convince my brothers to get out. But jobs and children..

I accidentally left a bunch of loose ammo in a carry bag that was discovered by scanner going through security. It was at a port terminal getting on cruise ship. Problem was ..... it was New Jersey. Had 9mm, 45, 556, 308 and 1 22 round. Total of 27 rounds I believe. OH BOY !!!!! Talk about the pucker factor !!!! I met port security, Homeland I think, local PD and last but not least, the Jersey State boys. Thank goodness they didn't try to make an example but what a day !!!! One of the state guys whispered he was glad none were hollow points as they are illegal in that state. Moral of the story is BE CAREFUL !! That could have ended badly. I left there thanking the Almighty but frustrated how restricted shooters are in that state.
