Unless you NEED a 1x capability, the LPVO's will ALWAYS be out done by a bigger scope for precision applications.

IMO the larger a magnification range an LPVO has the more compromises are inherently gonna be made. Like one of the biggest issues with the RG3 is that is has 10x mag but no parallax adjustment. Thats kinda something you want for precision shooting. I recently switched from a 1-8 to a 4-16 on my 6.5 CM. While I was doing ok with the LPVO, I feel like the bigger glass is unbeatable.

I like my Simmons Prohunter Prodiamond shotgun riflescope. It has a unique true zero windage system, so I was pleasantly surprised. Also, it is comfortable to hold and waterproof. The only disadvantage I found is that it comes with no mounting rings. By the way, if you are still in search, there is a review of several scopes on https://huntingfishingplus.com/best-...-deer-hunting/. Maybe you will find it useful.
