That’s some hardcore hunting. That seems like a really cool way to get a hog. How far do they typically go after being speared—tracking hogs and pulling them out of cover is one the worst parts of hog hunting. Since they seem to always die in the nastiest, most snake infested corners of the woods.

He said it went about 20 yards, returned to the initial area and dropped over.

I've "still hunted" Hogs for years with revolvers' and it could be sporty occasionally.

Always thought spear/Yari would be the next step up on the Adrenaline scale.

Growing up I new this one old boy that would jump out of trees with a knife and take down big hogs like that, he didn't always walk away unscathed.
The simple fact of the matter is this, America has never not been great.

Whoa! Wow! Cool loot. Tell me, how did you make the trap and how did you determine the place where to set it? Stupid question, but I'm new to hunting. There is passion, knowledge and skills are not enough. Therefore, I am here to learn how to handle weapons, the correct choice of weapons and other subtleties.

I read the thread title and thought this was about my high school prom, long ago.
