    Sweaty hands and shooting

I took my son to the range the other day and we were shooting my Walther PPQ. His hands were pretty sweaty and he was complaining that it was effecting his grip. Anyone have any tips in reducing this? I've heard of some people putting grip tape on their grips.

    Thanks!

Yup,and make sure you clean and install them EXACTTLY like they recommend. I have a set on my CZ 07 and they have been on there for at least 5 years & this is my EDC/main range gun ! They hold up well if you do your part.

I use 3M Safety Walk, way cheaper than TalonGrips.

Alternatively, climbing chalk is a pretty popular solution in USPSA.

Or get a bunch of Captains of Crush and get working on those. The long way around, but the best way.

Spray on grit is my favorite. I have used Brownells version and a few different types marketed by paint and adhesive companies.

You can always rub some dirt on your hands in a pinch.

I've always had the sweaty hand problem. Grip texture only does so much because my main issue is that the support hand fingers slip on the backs of my strong hand fingers when sweaty. A bit of climbing/gym chalk on the back of my strong hand has helped.

Agrips are what I ordered, they have a suede-like feel - I liked them so much I ordered another set for my Kahr PM-9.

I use this spray for rock climbing and shooting in the summer months. Spray on the night before shooting and lasts 3 days.

I like these over talon grips. They get grippier if I sweat more.
