Quick question: this is basically the set-up I'll be going for now that my upper's come in (no rails yet), but what does the Z32 bezel do? I have a Surefire 6P LED Defender I figured would double as a weapon light; would the bezel be needed?

If my memory serves me right, its use was to serve as "shock" protection for the incandescent LA. There's a foam/rubber-rubber/foam(?) surround inside the bezel. Now with regards to the LED drop-in, if used for extended periods of time, I don't know how that may affect the surround? Either melt it or not? But seems to stand the "heat" from the HOLAs.
