One device that does IR and white light is not ideal. 300 lumens was something in 2013. You can find models of DBALs around for $1100-1200 and a solid 1000+ lumen light for $200-250. That is a much better spend than that holosun.
AQ planned for years and sent their A team to carry out the attacks, and on Flight 93 they were thwarted by a pick-up team made up of United Frequent Fliers. Many people look at 9/11 and wonder how we can stop an enemy like that. I look at FL93 and wonder, "How can we lose?". -- FromMyColdDeadHand

Interesting that they list as class 2m IR lasers.

    Still crap power though.

I know guys (Haley, Costa) have had luck with their current IR laser/illuminators. If this one had more power it would make more sense. Most guys are running a separate IR illuminator like a surefire Vampire on most dedicated NV guns anyway.

My other option I'm looking hard at is a CQBL-1 with M600V. I just want as less crap hanging on the end of the gun as I can afford.

I used to run that setup. It was good, but you really need to be able to fire the light and illuminator together and switching the vampire was kind of annoying and slow.

I ended up selling and buying a full power laser.

Or you can go CQBL with IR Modlite (or Vampire if the output is enough for you) with a Unity TAPS Switch to fire both at the same time. The Modlite IR850 is a beast of an illuminator

I’m kinda new to this. My last time using this for work, but he PVS-7B was the hotness and still a PVS-4 or PAS2 for a weapons sight.

Dedicated IR. If you’re setting up your gun for defensive use, you’d want to separate WL from IR anyway
