What AR do you gravitate to?

I don’t have a huge collection. I know there are members here with dozens of ARs. I notice that I’m always gravitating towards shooting my DD MK18 pistol with an Eotech EXPS3 though. Don’t know why. Just have fun shooting it.

Which AR do you find yourself shooting the most?

    I have a few ARs
The one that’s been the most solid is my Barrett Rec 7 DI
It has been run hard through multiple rifle course without fail.

I've been running a P&W'ed 16.2" bbl with an Aimpoint PRO quite a bit lately. Makes me wish I'd cut down a 16" bbl and done this in the beginning. I haven't tried any higher end LPVO, but I seem to gravitate towards the simple RDS.

This one. It's stout, compact, and can be tossed in the bed of the pickup to steel painting runs at the range.

My 16" BCM lightweight URG based gun. My first personal AR plus it's light, smooth and handy. Midlength with MRO and light . It goes where I go, except for work and is the most likely to come to the range regardless of what other guns I bring. Ammo shortages have slowed that a bit.

Plain old basic M4A1 carbine, with iron sights and a flashlight.

I ended up with a Colt LE6945 upper that I have thrown on an older SBR lower. It is my new favorite. It doesn’t keep up with IG’s latest trends but it is simple and bomb proof.

I remember when I got my first AR back in 2008 or so, a Bushmaster XM15-E2S, and I just loved how lightweight and handy that gun was. This 16" BCM ELW is pretty close to handling the same way, but with the more modern optic and handguard. I've played with the heavier profile barrels with LPVOs and while I appreciate the capability, for a general bang around carbine I like my BCM with Aimpoint the best.

My main squeeze for the last 9 months or so has been an 11.3” BA barreled franken-SBR. It has a URX4, A5 tube, Modlight OKW, T2, fixed front BUIS, MBUS rear, Wilson “Paul Howe” trigger, and M4SDk can. Its set up for dedicated suppressor use and won’t quite cycle without one. I sometimes use a magnifier.

My side piece is an 18” with A1 stock, Modlight, and LPVO. It started life with a 16” barrel and has been experimented with quite a bit.
