Noveske Pistol with Colt Commando 11.5 upper. It's just ridiculously handy.

14.5" BCM upper with Surefire MD I pinned/welded.
    Barrel is BCM Fluted.
I went with a 1-6X Meopta "MeoPro", which is a few years old and is the older, Czech glass, not the newer, economy line "Optika". This glass is on par with my Kahles 1-6X.
Strelok gave me yardages for the Ballistic Reticle subtensions that has proven to be quite close.
Dialed for 77 gr. OTM it is usable with this zero to a couple hundred yards with 75 gr. G.D. as well.

This has proven be a reliable, simple carbine that I tend to grab before most others.

A true "Gun Guy" (or gal) should have familiarity and a modicum of proficiency with most all firearms platforms.

I tend to gravitate to my Colt 6920 SOCOM but she's a Frankenstein, Geissele SSA trigger, ambi safety, B5 stock and I needed more real estate so I replaced the Knights rail with Troy drop in rail but it's on the heavier side.

Lower: LMT MARS (SBR'd), PWS Enhanced buffer tube w/ ratcheting catle nut, Geissele Super 42 w/ H2, B5 SOPMOD stock, Magpul K2+ grip, Larue MBT trigger, KNS pins.
Suppressor: Rugged Razor 7.62, Manta V2 cover (rarely use the cover)

This is the one I like to keep handy. It’s not my favorite or my nicest AR but it’s the one I keep near me at home

I find myself gravitating torwards my two franken builds my buddy helped me build. They're just lightweight simple ARs; one's a small pistol and the other an 18 incher DMR sort of gun.

My 11.5” BCM with larue quad rail, T1, M4-2000 can, x300 and Vickers sling was getting all the love for the past ten years.

But most recently I’ve been gravitating to my DD that was a 9” 300bo but now that lower wears a 14.5” 6921 upper. Carry handle and no sling. It’s just so damn simple and it works.
