Sounds nice. I can't believe Geissele doesn't make 7" rails anymore. I have one, and it's a solid hand guard.

It is quite solid, very much so. It feels like a one piece upper. Maybe if enough of us demand it we might persuade Geissele to make some more 7" hand guards. I would buy another.

If the current situation with pistol braces gets settled favorably then I have considered cutting the 14.5 to 11.5" or so. But I'm not sure if the gas would be correct from a 14.5 to 11.5 Colt.

I wish the Centurion had the KAC dimensions. I'd only run those if that were the case. I like the one Centurion I have, but the tall bottom rail bugs me a little.

I use this funky modified c clamp grip. I use the Emissary grip stop and wrap my last three fingers around it, with my index on the 9 o'clock pic rail with my thumb on top. Which means the whole I Beam profile of the Centurion doesn't really bother me.

What ammo did you use with your Colt HBAR? I have over 5,000 rounds thru mine with NEVER an FTE or FTF or jam of any kind!

I wouldn't put Centurion in the I-beam category, but the profile isn't my favorite. The DD Omega was the worst Ibeam.

I like my Omega 9.0 but yeah it sure is a lot taller I-beam than my RIS II and QRF.

I have BCMs....but I debating do I want a Sionics premium lower with the 2 stage trigger or the BCM Mk2 in FDE from Primary Arms...
