What AR do you gravitate to?

My Aero Precision 14.7 pencil build. BCM Stock/Grip with a Troy SOCC rail, Streamlight Railmount 2 and a Aimpoint H2 on top. Light, short, handy, still maintains good velocity. It has been a solid patrol rifle for urban use in the last 3ish years. Comes out of it's rack for calls about once a week on avg. I have taken many courses with it and it has around 8000 to 10000 rounds on it. I stopped counting. Throw on the 3x mag and it's good for accurate (center mass) hits to 500 with standard 55gn TAP....I sure hope I never need to shoot out that far tho.

I learned to shoot with an M16A1 Rifle in 1973 and even though I’ve got a few flat tops with RDS, I keep coming back to my Colt AR6520. Only thing I did to it was replace the neutered BCG with a Colt FA BCG. Not much to go wrong with that little carbine.

BCM M4 style carbine. 16” barrel, M4 profile. Magpul handguards. It’s got a vcas sling, surefire light, and aimpoint PRO. It’s simple, effective, and I’m still very much the limiting factor in the equation. But I’m working on that.

My suppressed 12.5" Hodge Mod 1.5 is my daily driver, do everything gun. It currently has a Comp M5 on it, but is getting a Steiner P4Xi in a 1.93 Badger C1 mount as soon as I can grab a mount.

It's the gun I have the most time on currently in my safe. It's zeroed for my defensive ammo, just locked and ready to go. Aimpoint PRO, Streamlight, Geissele super sabra pack and lightning bow, Blue force gear sling, manticore arms seal plate.

BCM 14.5 P/W LW with SSA, T-1, Troys BUIS, CTR, BFG sling, ambi safety, Vltor CH, Surefire WML, C-4 rail. Originally built 2 identical carbines. Sold the first after about 15,000 rounds. This one only had like 5,000. Had it for over a decade I think. Rides with me every day.

DD Mk18 is my favorite. T2 in a LaRue HK height mount, Troy mini BUIS, and quite recently an SSA. It's been through many-a-classes and runs great. About 9,500 through it.
