Flip to side mount for magnifier

My plan is to use my Aimpoint 3X with a yet to be purchased Eotech EXPS2 . The Aimpoint came with the twist off mount but I'm going to change it out for a flip to the side. So my question is what height mount do I use? What mount is recommended ? One choice gave me a "high" or "low" option.
Both will be mounted on my AR15.

I'm not really a fan how most magnifier mounts flip to the side but the Unity FAST™ FTC is one I'd like to try.
