In order to keep them from lost or misplaced, I suggest attaching all of these parts to a spare lower.

Oh, and you should have a spare optic or rear BUIS . . .
    Ha, that is awesome.

Spare parts will be around for as long as we're legally able to own them.
The gun Prohibitionists have already discussed restricting “assault rifle conversion kits”, which would likely include bolts, carriers, barrels, uppers, and likely other parts like stocks too.

EXTRA rifles/pistols make GREAT sources of spare parts. My dedicated AR.22's lower, instantly becomes a "complete spare" for one of my 5.56 rifles, if need be.

Sure, other firearms can become "spares", but I'd prefer to replace parts with new parts, rather than breaking up another rifle (unless of course I have to).

Saves time, effort, need to confirm function of another rifle after fixing it again, etc.

But hey, if you prefer having 12 ARs in the safe instead of 11 plus a shit pot of spares, do you! I don't care!

The wonderful thing about spare rifles is I can have one with a bolt on order and a few operational, and not have to stock a "shit pot of spares".

And, I don't see now having a bin full of spare parts obviates the "need to confirm function", once a part is replace you have to do this whether it came direct from BCM or from a desk drawer.
