And for some of those, that would be cool...

For some of the others (.25ACP, .38S&W), I dunno...

    Good point on those.

I just recently learned .38S&W wasn't a naming variation of .38 spl because a local shop has had several boxes of S&W sitting on the shelf while nothing else was staying stocked.

Do you actually have guns that shoot all those calibers? There are some real oddballs in there.

I'm a confessed ammo stockpiler: I have a 5-10 year supply of the thirteen calibers that I shoot.

(At least, I did, before my daughter got into Rimfire Challenge. My 5-10 year supply of hi-velocity .22lr was 10,000rnds, but she's gone through a 1,000+ in the last month, so at best that's looking more like a 1-year supply.)

I mostly do, and if not I’ll either get a gun for it one day or gift to friends who have a gun for it.

The .38 S&W is for my British lend lease S&W Victory

    Several pistols in 7.65

    The 7.62 X 54 R

    The 30-30

    Some sub machine guns

Then I now have over 2000 rds of .32 ACP and just one Walther PPK, so I might buy a full auto VZ 61 Skorpion some day (maybe with a silencer).

I’m keeping the box of .45 Colt and .45-70 Gvt, just in case

I have a handful of 7.65(stamped .30 Luger) a friend found his Dad trying to stick in a P-38. Wasn't sure where he got it from.

I get that... It's hard to think of any gun chambered in those that is NOT cool!

FWIW, .45 Colt and 7.63 Mauser are so rare and expensive that I'm now reloading them for my uncle's Colt SAA and broomhandle...

It's deja vu, all OVER again!

    That ammo looks FAMILIAR...

Bought an additional old military wooden box and did some sorting out of the ammo, especially the loose boxes. I also have several unopened cases of various calibers (.32 ACP, .30 Luger, .357 Mag, .223 Rem, .308 Win etc..) so I’m well stocked. But sadly most ranges are closed due to COVID

    UPDATE

The young gentleman who sold me all the vintage ammo last year contacted me (see 1st post). He found more where the first batch came from.

This time he had a buddy drive him so he brought the whole thing in one lot.

    There’s 1900 .30M1 Hirtenberg and Magtech

    2380 .223 (Remington and 4 boxes Hirtenberg)

    Some .38, .45, .458, 600 rds of Swiss 9mm

9 bricks of .22 plus 16 loose boxes

And two nice empty cans, one being a french 12.7

    10580 rounds in total including 5200 .22lr

    Cost was $ 1700.-

It’s nice to have guns, it’s even nicer to have guns & ammo!
