Most of it was good, although I don't think Trump is a psychopath. Dems have been wiping their asses with constitution since day one. They were dangerous in 1830, they were dangerous in the 1860's, they were dangerous in the 1940's and they are dangerous today.

    Cliff notes:

FDR was an actual racist and in particular his policies of interning Japanese Americans following Pearl Harbor who were not guilty of any actual crimes is one of the few times this country actually practiced "institutionalized racism" in the 20th century but nobody wants to talk about that and most people today hero worship the hell out of FDR even though he was the only "other guy" that year beside Hitler and Stalin who were actually putting people into relocation camps.

Sadly I thought everyone knew this stuff already. Did we stop teaching who was President when the US put Japanese people into camps? Because I know every school is still teaching how the US was so racist during WWII that they put Japanese Americans into camps.
It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.

    Chuck, we miss ya man.

“The buck stops here” principle only came after FDR. He isn’t responsible for all policies he approved or that initiated by his appointees.

It was getting mentioned in the 80's and 90's, but not so much on including FDR's role in it.

I had history classes where the Emancipation Proclamation was portrayed as "Lincoln freed all the slaves" and was discussed before the lecture on the opening shots on Ft. Sumter so things were getting twisted back then too.

Unfortunately both sides have since day one.

A couple of points showing the Democrat opponents weren't good. Jefferson freed prisoners of the Adams administration who had been locked up because federalists liked violating the freshly penned first amendment.

Another was Marxists that were able to escape Europe after their revolution in 1848 failed flocked to, and were embraced by, the Republican party.

What? Marxism was an unfinished theory and the Republican party did not exist in 1848. What revolution are you referring to?
