I've run plenty of 75 and 77 gr bullets out of multiple 5.56mm chambered ARs, never a problem.

I have shoot plenty of the Hornday 75g Steel Match and Steel training ammo and zero problems.

When I get to shoot 3 gun, I use 75g Hornday as my rifle bullet for stuff over 100 yds.

Would any ammo manufacturer even load factory ammo longer than What an AR mag can handle?

Shooting single shot, load one and shoot you can have your OAL into the rifling or just kissing it or not at all.

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

The last thing I want to do is hurt you,
but it's still on my list.

Leaning towards yes. Likely with 80Gr SMK and more so with the 90.

Before everything got so AR-centric, there were more that did just that. Less widely available though, and more specialized loads. Sorry, can't remember a sku as an example.

Were any of these ever labeled 5.56mm NATO?

Should not be a problem, buy and if it won't feed, send it to me. My Bolt gun will eat it.

I consistently get MOA w/ 77gr IMI Razorcore. This is from a 20'' BCM Std Barrel w/ 1-5 Steiner VLPO.
