This year has been a little different, but still good.

Saddest Halloween ever, didn't see one trick or treater. Kids got robbed this year.

Our town turned out nicely for the trunk or treat. Basically, the city I live in is spread out across a large area and they invite the rural kids into "main street" and the nearby park for a safer environment.

It seemed like less than years before, but still a decent showing when I traveled through around dusk.

My daughter's boyfriend works at the local Toyota dealership which held a trunk or treat. She said they were absolutely packed and stayed open until they ran out of candy.

Steyr, curious what state you live in? Here in Las Vegas we had a lot of trick or treaters and nearly ran out of candy at the very end.

Small town Iowa. I think between an early onset of winter (it's snowed twice now) and Covid concerns everyone just assumed it wasn't gonna happen. I didn't see a single kid outside and now I have a megapack of 400 pieces of Halloween candy. I guess at least I bought the good stuff.

We put a bowl of candy on the front porch and it was empty by 9. It's not the same without cute kids and, even better, the Moms in their slutty costumes.

I never get any cute kids or slutty moms. Living in the boonies means you miss some of the perks of society. I'll still take it over living in town but the cows and the wildlife ain't big on holiday traditions.

We took the kiddos around the neighborhood, and there were probably about 1/4 of the houses handing out candy as usual. The kids still enjoyed it. We only had about 15-20 kids come through. Usually it's probably closer to 50-60. We had 80% of our candy left over.

I live in a small town of about 3k in PA. Lots of kids were out which was nice. I took my son and the neighbors and less people were handing out than normal, but they still got a good haul. Even had some people grilling and handing out beers for the adults
