    Decision help

Weapon: remington 700 Long Range in 30.06
    Base: seekins 20moa
Rings: vortex pro in .90 height
    Scope: sig tango 4 6-24x50

Issue: the knurling on the adjustment know is impacting the rail, preventing it from turning

    Solutions considered:
    1) spending another $130+ on a .92 height ring
    2) relieve the rail of just enough material to allow the adjustment dial to turn

The eye relief (where I have it now) is optimal, so the optic won't need to be moved reward. Should I just go ahead and sand it down?

    Yep; grind the rail.
A true "Gun Guy" (or gal) should have familiarity and a modicum of proficiency with most all firearms platforms.
