Moving To New Home In Same State With Supressor
What is required for suppressors when you move from 1 house and now live in another house with in the same state? I can not find anything on the ATF website about this. All I see is about NFA rifles and destructive devices and a lot of the lingo stuff doesn't make sense. Even the back of the tax stamp form is not clear what to do.
Thanks!

95% sure you don’t have to notify anyone as long as your with that same state.
You can notify ATF but it’s not required.
Edit:ATF changed thier website and I can’t find it anymore, but found this elsewhere.

My understanding is that suppressors are exempt from notification.
Here’s a link to Silencer Central with info whose very business is at stake if they have wrong info. You may want to contact them and ask how they verified this is accurate.

John Pierce, attorney, strongly recommends notifying an address change for suppressors. Sounds from him that it’s not a requirement either.

This isn’t advice but info to follow up on.

You dont have to do anything, even interstate, with silencers.

You don't have to do anything, with anything, ever, intrastate.
