    Fellow Enthusiasts... Suppressor alignment assistance

Got my Saker K direct thread in, fitted it, used a McMAster-Carr rode I’d ordered in advance, didn’t feel comfortable making a decision, ordered Griffin Armament alignment rods, mocked it up again today.

    How close is too close?

Here are some pictures, I tried to get different angles. Bear with me, first foray into this, and I don’t really feel like blowing something up after a wait like that.

Never even bothered to do this on modern gas guns, maybe I'm crazy. Looks fine to me.

Looks fine. Beside, worst case you can replace the end cap... well if you can get yours off... try as I might, I cannot get the flat Saker end cap off my 556-K. Soaked it in liquid wrench, torqued on it, no dice.

Thanks, guys. I’ll be taking to the range soon...
Rhino, I don’t have the wrench, but I actually picked up a flat end plate for the heck of it while waiting for the stamp to come back.

Most i ever do is mount the can and look down the bore from the chamber end. If i don't see baffles i figure im good. Havent had a misaligned one yet, but it certainly could happen.

    Successsssssss

Very fun time today. I waited 15 full months... Satisfied. I was thinking the K can might have done less noise reduction than it did. More than satisfied.
