Patriotism means to stand by the country. It does not mean to stand by the President... - Theodore Roosevelt, Lincoln and Free Speech, Metropolitan Magazine, Volume 47, Number 6, May 1918.

Every Communist must grasp the truth. Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun. Our principle is that the Party commands the gun, and the gun must never be allowed to command the Party Mao Zedong, 6 November, 1938 - speech to the Communist Patry of China's sixth Central Committee

I use an Eagle industries SAW pouch with the detachable elastic top insert installed, it's mil-spec quality and will easily hold 50+ loose rounds securely. They have molle attachment so you can wear it on a belt, harness or plate carrier. Add a strap and you could carry it over the shoulder. As an added bonus the same pouch can hold 6 30 round 5.56 PMags or 4 20 round .308 PMags. They are dirt cheap on Ebay...

I like this one on amazon

    https://www.amazon.com/BronzeDog-Wat...7HP4QG2L&psc=1

Once you input it in amazon, scroll to the bottom and it gives a bunch of options.

    Apron

Years back I bought an 870 wingmaster to take my first shotgun class and one of my class mates used this HD Apron. Kept birdshot on left and slug on right could reload easily while not shooting, worked pretty well. When going prone shell naturally moved out of the way, although my first prone was on a fire ant mound....Not pretty.

Also worked with transitions to pistol as apron was under holster and didn't snag. An odd option for sure, but still use for pistol classes to reload mags while waiting around.

When we used to train Prison Guards here in Texas on the shotgun we had a big old 20 MM can full of Nail Pouches- white cotton with two strings that wrap around your waist and tie. Everyone got one.....They worked pretty decent and were really cheap. If some walked off or got tore up, no big deal.
