I did. About a decade back. Original 7.5 not the hacked Century 308. Definitely a cool rifle should never had traded it.

no but it's something I've been looking into. would love one in 308 provided it's done right as the Frenchie ammo is hard and expensive to come by

It’s a great rifle. I really like the sights. You will enjoy it.

If I was gonna oddball a 7.5 round I'd have definitely jumped on one of those Schmidt Rubin K31s when they were being imported for next to nothing. Insanely accurate bolt rifle.
Early 2000s was definitely the golden age for C&Rs, especially when thing like Enfield No. 4 Mk1s, Arisakas and the like were available for amazingly low prices like K98s and 91/30 Nagants. When Samco Global was still in operation their catalog was amazing. It was everything Century Arms had and more, except it was all in exceptional condition.
I sorta regret the ones I didn't buy but I was always leery of buying something where the ammo supply could completely dry up.

Chuck, we miss ya man.

We bought one years ago. I snagged about 5 mags for cheap back then too. Super cool in the original 7.5 caliber.
I had one for years in the original 7.5 French. I had about 3K rounds of ammo, multiple mags and spare parts. It was extremely accurate and rugged. I regret selling back when I trimmed my collection down. I also bought a MAB P-15 pistol then, I still have that.
