The question is are you going use an AR pistol or any other weapon that the ATF, governor, or government decides and declares illegal in a justified self defense shooting?

Just look at many states that already have such restrictions. Sure plenty of people in NY and CA still have AR 15’s and 30 round magazines. But what's the outcome if they actually use them in a justified use of deadly force?
    They are F'd.

Yeah, the problem is that you are not a professional criminal, you can't get the weapons charge dropped in exchange for pleading guilty to one of the other crimes you committed during the event.

Have you looked at what it takes to enter the people’s republic of Hawaii?

Seems like 2020 is kind of a year of “unprecedented” firsts, no?

Even if there is massive non compliance, as there should be, we have had literal tyranny going on around us for 6 months+ and people seem to be just glazing right over it.

As soon Biden was declared by the press the president elect (cause I guess that’s how we choosing presidents now) they wasted no time ramping up the rhetoric and threats to 11. I know it’s only rhetorical and bluster right now, but they are straight up TELLING us what’s in store and we’re like “yea, whatever?” Not sure if you noticed but the left has been telling us what they were going to do for the last half century....and they’ve done it. Unlike the so called conservatives who can’t even seem to conserve things back to 5 minutes ago. Just a though, but we might want to take them at face value and believe what their telling us?

If I were to read you a list of things that were going to happen in 2020 back in 2019 you would think I was reading from a dystopian novel.

    Just a thought.

Those are passive orders with no teeth...... IF they were going door to door to ~100,000,000 homes seeking entry...then you'd have an apt comparison

These gov't orders are also losing in the courts so if you want to hold this up as a model...it's good news.

Hawaii is an isolated state with pretty much ports of entry. They at like a separate country and they can be for all the F's I give about that little island!

Did you notice the Senate is GOP? Did you notice SCOTUS has a conservative leaning? What makes you think this anything can get pushed through?

Again CA high capacity magazine ban was struck down! Under appeal but... That was with a super majority of dems....Not even close to that on federal level.

Is there concerns? Yes. Panic. No.

Correct, no panic, but it's still naive to think things "can't happen"

The ATF doesn't need laws, they just selectively interpret and enforce what they want.
They don't have to make sweeping laws or go door to door yet, why would they give us something to rally behind. They will do it slowly and painfully, bit by bit, until they believe our resolve has been beaten. They will eventually win, because we continually underestimate them.

American's are NOT gonna line up to hand over firearms! So it would take a concerted effort with dozens of real pitfalls to even get off the ground. Impossible? No but lot's more stuff than Sloppy Joe (I saw that one today!) getting elected to have me worried!

I don't think the BATFE has the man power to accomplish their day to day concerns much less get hauled in to confiscating millions of items. Quick search says..."In fiscal year 2018, ATF had 5,101 employees, including 2,630 special agents and 842 industry operations investigators. The agency's 2018 enacted budget was $1.274 billion."

That's for Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Literally a couple hundred to go door to door looking for braces....

I suppose we should be watching the BATFE yearly budget and hiring practices.....If they ramp up.... Till then...pfft!

That's the trap. They don't have to go door to door. They don't have to announce a ban. They don't have to make any kind of grand gesture.
They do it slowly. Like the bump-stock ban.
Now the coming ban on pistol braces and 80% parts. They have announced its coming, and they are betting that not enough people will stand up against it.

Then they will make ammo so expensive, no one will be able to buy it.

They have already been successful at reducing those who believe in the 2A generation by generation.

COVID lockdowns and Mask mandates have already conditioned far too many Americans to give up a little liberty for presumed safety.

When they unleash the Antifa types with guns, and get the expected response by the 2A community, a new AWB will be an easy sell to the rest of America.

It's coming. We know it's coming. We need to stop thinking the enemy is so dumb and inept as to do it in a way that we could use to trigger a unified response. The enemy is winning, has been winning for decades. When will we wise up?

It's like nobody here has ever heard of "War of Attrition" or "Death of a Thousand Cuts"... or remembers Niemoller's Lament about how the Holocaust went down one disfavored group at a time.

In 20 years it'll be a lot like Red Barchetta but with guns instead of cars..

My uncle has a country place
    That no one knows about
He says it used to be a range
    Before the Firearms Laws…

Your right. Disregard. Nothing to see here.

The left hasn’t been wining for the last half century...one little tiny battle at a time.

The left doesn’t control the media, academics, sports, entertainment, and a good chunk of politics, and a few other areas of life I’m sure I’m leaving out.

The left isn’t hands down winning the culture war.

You’re right. The Republicans had the last four years and didn’t just squander it (Just like they do every time they gain power). Trump was really winning with all his pro freedom pro gun agenda items.

Total success. This is the freest we’ve even been.

Kicked that topic in the ass. What’s next?
