Zenith Firearms cuts ties with MKE

If Century manages to bring them in at realistic prices and they QC is not jacked up, I'll be all over them. The first two batches of MKEs were rather nice.

I doubt QC would remain on par under Century. According to the article, "In January 2019, Zenith corrected the significant quality control issues here in the US while making the concerns known to MKE."

We are talking about Turkey. Not exactly known for producing the finer things in life. Inevitably we will hear “But, but, but, MKE is a licensed manufacturer of HK roller delayed blowback firearms!”. All this means is they purchased the TDP from HK way back when they paid to license it. MKE is not using the same steel as HK, nor do they have the same QC/QA. Jim Schatz, may he RIP, frequently called out the “just as good as” claims re: non-HK licensed products.

Just pony up and buy a HK SP5, SP5K, or SP5K-PDW. The price will hurt, but not as much as it will if we truly see these types of imports stopped.
