It could have been Israel solely, it could even have been the Saudis; the Saudis and UAE are tired of Iran's shit. Not all the Muslims in middle east are best of friends, and quite frankly Iran is pissing off most of them.

I'm surprised that outside actors can operate and do things like this inside of Iran. Aren't they essentially a closed and tightly controlled society? Would be the Cold War equivalent of someone knocking off a top Soviet nuke expert in Moscow.

On the one hand, why would they? I mean, our people don't exactly drive around and up-armored SUVs or have a PSD.

on the other hand, it seems that the life expectancy of a nuclear scientist in Iran seems to be dropping lol. You would think with as many of them who have died relatively recently, they would be a little more concerned about their security.
