Pachmayr Compacs are my default grip for j frames that get shot with any regularity, they’ll keep your knuckle from getting hammered by the trigger guard.

    Nice score BTW...

Yeah those skinny grips look nice but they suck ass for most people. Rubber boot grips of some variety are my go to for J-frames; I have a more recent no lock 442 and it's a slick little revolver with an Apex trigger kit.

tanksoldier - you might want to try a pair of these:

They work well for larger hands, still conceal well, and are inexpensive.

I forgot about those. I have them on a Speed Six.

I prefer the look of wood, but if the boot grips don't work I may try those.

    I hadn't seen these.

Looks like they applied lessons learned from the Ruger LCR Tamer grip. The LCR version doesn't look quite as big probably because the LCR grip frame is very short front to back.

I wish the really lightweight J's were available in a 6-shot .32 Magnum with an improved trigger. (I have an LCR 6-shot .327 mag and really like it, prefer .32 mag though)

    Nice deal on the gun.

Yeah, I love to see them produce a 632 again, but with a 2.5" barrel to get the full-length ejector rod, and a Performance Center trigger job.

They did make some with a 1 and 7/8" barrel in 32 Magnum, but they are $1500 on Gunbroker IF you can find one.

I've got the exact same gun in my pocket right now wrapped up in a Mika pocket holster. I bought it off a guy that bought it for his wife, she put exactly 5 rounds thru it and there it sat for decades in here sock drawer in mint condition until I came and bought it and slapped a pair LG-405s on it put some honest wear in it.

Yep, on the J frame and the 2.5" 19/66. Compac RB. The K frame with 125gr Magnums still move around, but the BLAST and FIREBALL.

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

The last thing I want to do is hurt you,
but it's still on my list.
