Anyone else head of this Booker backer bill? Where does the 32 million acres come from? Seems very South African to me.

Well, there's 56 million government owned acres in Nevada and 34 million in Utah.

Knowing the way our government works, that's probably where they'd start...

If they federal government wants to give those lands as reparations, I don't have a problem with it.

If they start knocking on people's doors and telling them their house is being seized for reparations, then there's going to problems...

It's been done before. Reconstruction - 40 Acres and a Mule. I won't see it happening out here because you can't grow much here, but it would take you 40 acres to raise each head of cattle. Maybe Spartacus will be introducing: "40 Acres and a Cow"?

Yeah but the Racist Democrats got that cancelled so they could get back to defacto slavery for another 50+ years via sharecropping / Jim Crow laws.

Well, if they actually give away Federal lands as reparations, and then charge property tax, the new owners will default within a year. I guess the best play on that would be to take out a mortgage on the property then let it default, skip with the money. Uncle sugar tits won't get get mad then, they get their property back, the banks lose money and write it off on their taxes, and the former black owners spend the money and boast the economy, and live like kings for a couple of months- then vote for the next democrat. Actually pretty smart-

I’m Black. My family has land stolen. It happened.

That said, I’d be against Club Fed giving land it’s EXPRESSLY forbidden to own. It’s STATE LAND unless it’s a military base. And before someone says “National Park” I ask you to look “UN Heritage Sites”.

    That is all.

Reconstruction was one of the ugliest times in our history. It's too bad we learned nothing from it, because I have a feeling we are about to get it again.
