Thought experiment: let's design the most complicated AR-15/M16 possible

    Guys.

A few years ago I made a fun thread where we invented the most complicated pistol ever. It was fun. https://www.m4carbine.net/showthread...istol-possible

Let's do the same thing for the AR-15. The only rule is that it must be DI (let's not just post a picture of the G-11 Caseless and be done)

    I'll start

    1. Safe/Single/2 round burst/Full auto.
    2. Adjustable trigger weight
    3.Strike Industries PDW Stock
    4. Hydraulic Buffer
    5. A2 BUIS
    6. Flip up tritium front sight.? Suggestions?
7 Gemtech Adjustable Bolt System https://www.gemtech.com/gemtech-5-56...t-carrier.html
    8. CAA flip up pistol grip
    9. Ambi Saftey (most complicated unit)
    10 Magpul BAD B.A.D. Lever® - Battery Assist Device – AR15/M4

Let's make this thing a mess!

It definitely needs a Nautilus rotating handguard for ultimate cringe.

Short stroke piston with 3 position ambi charging handle. Traditional AR charging handle with an AK/Garand style right side handle which can be moved to the left side on the piston....ala G3

    - HK416-style ambi magazine release, plus a paddle magazine release
    - Adjustable burst mechanism allowing selection between 2- and 3-round burst
    - Adjustable gas block
    - Adjustable bolt carrier
    - LAW folder
    - Interchangeable extended, beveled magazine well/insert allowing the use of AR-15 magazines or Galil magazines or Valmet magazines or 5.56mm AK magazines or HK33 magazines or FAMAS magazines or SG550 magazines or G36 magazines or Steyr AUG magazines or...
    - Hinged fold-down oversized trigger guard - that requires a roll pin to be removed to fold down

Ratcheting select fire feature of the Mini-14!!! Never quite sure where in the rotation you are. Maybe get a 3rd burst maybe just one shot!

Can we get some kind of powered rail system.. Hopefully one where the use has to wear a battery pack on them to power the WML and Red Dot...

Oh and that Osprey Defence piston if worthy.

With mag carrier. And another in the foregrip, rack three Surefire quad-stackers or Beta-C's if we're going for absurdly and unnecessarily gearqueer-complicated.

    Don't forget a CZ52-style side-folding bayonet...

-That also activates the bolt catch like a Radian.

    -Stock should have adjustable comb.
-that suppressor with the stacking bore inserts
    -Hydraulic buffer. Two of them
    -HK 3 point sling
-flip up rear sight with dials, like on black powder precision rifles
-LPVO with exposed turrets and a Horus reticle. The one that has a bunch of shit going on.
-rail that is neither MLok nor Keymod
    -two ejectors
    -two piece firing pin
    -Xtech adjustable grip
-chambered in something crazy, like 7.62x39 Ackley Improved, or a 223 necked to .17 so your cleaning rods won’t fit.
