Looking at a gun I put together a few years ago I saw the bolt was laser etched LA on top of HPT/MPT. Anyone know who LA is?
It has functioned fine just has me curious.

I have been trying to figure this one out for years. I have 6 or 7 of them marked this way.

I have bought Colt, Daniel Defense, Sionics, LMT, LaRue and one from PK Firearms stated as the oldest bolt mfg in the industry. I just don’t recall where this one came from.
