I'm not sure how I overlooked Cylinder & Slide. They've probably got more Hi Power experience than any other shop. In addition they make/sell quite a few parts. Extended safety assemblies, hammers, sears. Among other stuff.

Very tempting. My much loved MKII was rode hard and put away wet before I ever bought it, then I carried and shot it for years. Hi Powers really are special.

Of course, now I carry a fugly Glock that I can buy and replace any and all parts for without giving it a second thought.

The news that Karl is done with the 2nd pistol has put me in a Hi-Power state of mind. I am carrying his 1st gun today.

As is often the case when I do, I wonder why I don't carry a Hi-Power regularly.

I lucked into a C&S custom Lightweight HP this year from a big online shop that didn't know what they had. I don't carry a HP and didn't want to beat on the aluminum frame so ended up selling it for many times more than I paid but it was a beauty. https://imgur.com/gallery/scPDPrp

OP those are some beauties, I may need to give Karl some work.

Does Novak do "ala carte" stuff or just build their various packages?

I would say they do or did ala carte, since mine is a special ops package but with different sights.

Note the shortened slide stop axle. It had actually been flushed up with the side of the frame previously but I asked Karl to dimple it. Now it should be more easily pushed out using a cartridge, pen, etc.

    Thanks.

Stand by for more pics. I'll get some posted up as soon as I get the gun back.
