    Law Tactical Competition?

This seems interesting, integrating the folding mechanism straight into the lower and at a price point where you get the entire encapsulated system vs. just the folding mechanism:

    What do ya'll think?

    Proprietary buffer. Hard pass.

Also not a fan of being a guinea pig for lowers from unheard of companies.

From what little I can see, the latch doesn't look that tough. Doesn't allow you to ever change your mind about it either.

If I wanted folding, I'd go LAW long before that.

I like a little more tail-end weight in my AR's for balance. Sticking to LAW unless they redesign it to use a standard CAR, A5 or Rifle buffer and beef up that latch.

New Frontier also offers a lower with a folding mechanism. I thought about buying one to compare it to the Law Tactical. I owned Law Tactical and I like them, but they are expensive for what they are, for my needs. Law Tactical as a company is local to me and I like to suppose local companies, but I'm not in love with their product.
